LADIES LUNCHEON

$49 per person / (price excludes tax and gratuity) available through April 20th.

On April 20, 1868, Delmonico’s made international headlines
when it hosted the inaugural Ladies’ Luncheon, organized by
journalist Jane Cunningham Croly after she was barred from a
men-only event. The gathering marked the first time women
publicly dined without male escorts – an act that paved the
way for professional women’s clubs and expanded visibility
for women in civic and social life. It remains one of the most
significant, yet often overlooked, milestones in women’s history.
